$6M+ was raised across 12 funding rounds in Web3. Dealflow was unsurprisingly quiet kicking off the first week of 2024 in light of the holiday season. Most announced rounds represented residual deals from 2023 primarily associated with “strategic” rounds. The biggest agenda item for the industry at the moment is the looming approval of Bitcoin spot ETFs, which is anticipated to come soon and keeping everyone anxiously waiting. Given the relatively quiet week for funding, I’m keeping this edition short and sweet. More to come in the weeks ahead!
